VBS July, 2005Dear Praying Friends,Our five-day July 2005 Children's Holiday Program (VBS) is now complete with follow-up visitation in progress! The Lord blessed abundantly with over one-third of our visitors making a salvation decision and another one-fourth of our children making a spiritual decision other than salvation! As well, our workers grew spiritually with many of them serving in an area new to them. Most of our Line Leaders served in this capacity for the first time. Nathan took the leadership of running a daily game for his first V BS ministry experience. He learned some important things and did quite well. I don't think I've ever seen him so assertive before, a nd that really helped to make things run smoothly. Nancy worked w ith Katie Graham, our coworker, in putting on a three-day Mornings for Moms program that had more visitors than any such program here before! One Mom even brought her own two visitor Moms one day! Evan sang a duet cowboy song in our Friday evening service for families. Though this was a new opportunity for him, he did great! John coordinated the program and did a daily missionary story based upon the book Cowboy Boots in Darkest Africa. Our biggest problem was just having the exact number of craft items one day and having to wonder, "Will we have enough?" Amen! Empowered by your prayers, John, Nancy, Nathan, Evan, Rachel, & Benjamin Moore PicturesVisitor Nathan Childs in the Bible Lesson Time
