Dear Praying Friends,

In October John and Kevin Brosnan, one of our coworkers, went on a missions survey trip to Mozambique to help Paul in his search for a ministry location. We had some exciting witnessing opportunities and also learned much about this field. Mozambique is not a country o f "unreached peoples" in the sense that people have never heard of Jesus Christ. However, most professing Christians there believe in some other way of salvation such as good works. An investment of time and much work will be needed by anyone seeking to evangelize this country.

One other challenge comes from the expectation that church teams bring gifts. At one village a woman told us before a church service, "many people come for meetings when the Americans arrive, but when the Americans leave there are few people remaining for fellowship."

Empowered by your prayers,
John, Nancy, Nathan, Evan, Rachel, & Benjamin Moore
