Dear Praying Friends,Children's Holiday Program (or Vacation Bible School) is just around the corner here in Johannesburg! We are excited for the opportunity to conduct a five day CHP and three day Mornings for Moms program at Calvary Baptist July 4 - 8. Of course, for us the preparation of CHP has had us busy for the last month, so the actual program is just the conclusion. Here is a picture of the brochure we designed to promote our program Cowboys in Sunnyridge.
Personally, beyond whatever fruit we see in the program itself, we rejoice in the new roles our family will step into during this program. Nathan will be in charge of daily games and a fair booth on Friday. Evan will be in a duet singing skit that will be part of our Friday evening service program for families. Both of our young men have never had opportunities like these before. Rachel and Ben will be participants in the CHP and will be encouragers of others in their groups. Nancy will help primarily with Mornings for Moms, with our coworker, Katie Graham. John is coordinating the program and conducting our daily Bill Rice skit.
Pray that the Lord will do much in our CHP July 4 - 8!
