Dear Praying Friends,
We serve the God of perfect timing! One of my favorite memorized Bible verses is James 1:3 "Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience." The Lord taught me that His plan is for me to be faithful in all known areas of life. Trials will many times come to test that faithfulness. Is our faithfulness enduring? Is our faith of the fair-weather variety alone? As we depend upon God for grace to be faithful during a trial this brings a reward of patience. Some would define this patience as "longer enduring faith." In other words, our faith, tested by trials, results in a faith that will endure longer next time.
How glad I am that I learned to concentrate on being faithful, by grace, without consideration of the need to wait. This month we rejoice in three blessings where God met the need in His own way as we waited. Oh how refreshing to live knowing if I live in faith by grace God will bring about His plan in His timing!
